Objectives:

• Discuss the means of implementation, follow-up and review of the global compact
• Discuss overarching means of implementation (similar to SDG 17), such as partnerships, capacity-building, financing, data, etc.

Format:

• Co-facilitators moderate the panels and the interactive discussion
• UN-panel format
• Co-facilitators moderate the session
• The expert panelists, from outside of the UN System, will provide recommendations of elements to be considered for effective implementation and follow-up and review (7 minutes each)
• In the following discussion, delegations will react to the proposals of the panelists, and provide their own views on means of implementation, partnerships, the institutional architecture and follow-up and review
